New Head for Emanuel School

The Trustees would like to record their thanks to Mark Hanley-Browne for his 13 years’ Headship of Emanuel School, which has improved beyond recognition during that time in terms of school roll, academic achievements and new buildings.  He takes up the role of CEO of the prestigious Alpha Plus Group of Schools in September 2017.

The Governing Body of Emanuel School are pleased to announce that Robert Milne will take up the Headship in September 2017.

Mr Milne attended Pocklington School in Yorkshire before reading English at Leicester University and is currently completing a Master’s degree at King’s College, London University.  He has taught English at Oundle School and at King Edward’s School, Birmingham before being appointed Head of English at Magdalen College School in 2007.  In 2011, he took up his current post as Deputy Head of King’s College School, Wimbledon
