What We Do

Our family of schools

The Foundation has been involved in education since the Middle Ages.  Our schools educate over 2,000 pupils in diverse settings.  This includes a nursery,  a prep school, as well as secondary, all ability and selective, state funded and independent schools.  They are situated in both urban and rural settings.  The five schools are located in Berkshire, Kent, Wandsworth and Westminster.

Our mission is to build on our strong history and excellent record of educational achievement, working in a mutually supportive and collaborative environment for the benefit of all of the pupils in the family of schools.  The schools work within the framework of the Christian ethos.

All our schools focus on providing our young people with the opportunity to make the most of their talents and fulfil their potential.   The Foundation leads on the governance, ensuring that all of our schools are supported and held to account by high-quality governing bodies, appointment the majority of governors onto the boards of our independent schools and academies.

Our Professional Development and Partnerships Committees support collaboration between our schools providing opportunities for staff and students together.  We have developed subject networks; a coaching programme for senior and middle leaders and brought our teachers together at conferences considering Student Mental Health and Well Being and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.  Our pupils have the opportunity to take part in events encompassing music, writing, art and sport.

The Foundation Office

The Foundation Office is located at Westminster City School and supports our schools in a range of ways.  We provide treasury services to our schools, support the funding of capital development and manage grants to our academies.   We provide governance services for all of the schools and offer a broad range of support for all our school governors.  We provide and oversee many HR services for our schools.  The annual conference,  which brings together Trustees, Governors and senior leaders enables them to collaborate and explore key themes in education as well to provide networking opportunities
